MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Worcester State University women's indoor track & field was led by Asgerdur Jana Agustsdottir (Akureyri, Iceland) this weekend at the Wesleyan Invitational as she earned top honors in the high jump and placed in the long jump and shot put.

RECAP
Worcester State's Agustsdottir performed well today, earning top honors in the high jump with a height of 1.59m/5-02.50. She also marked personal records in the long jump (5.21m/17-01.25) and shot put (12.09m/39-08.00).
Worcester State's sprinter and hurdler, Abigail Danso (Worcester, Mass.) notched second place in the 60 meter hurdles (9.21) and earned a personal record in the 200 meters with a time of 27.45, which was good for 12th place.
Sophomore sprinter Abigail MacGregor (Salem, N.H.) recorded personal records in the 60 meter (8.26) and 200 meter (27.35) dash today.
Worcester State's Hannah LoChiatto (Harvard, Mass.) earned a 4th place finish in the high jump (1.54m/5-00.50) and marked a personal record in the 400 meters of 1:03.23.
UP NEXT
Next Saturday (Feb. 10) both the men's and women's indoor track & field teams travel to Providence to take part in the MASCAC/Alliance Championships.
