Truong Places Fourth in 60M Hurdles at ECAC ChampionshipsMarch 05, 2016STATEN ISLAND, NY - Duy Truong (Worcester, Mass.) placed fourth in the 60 Meter Hurdles in 8.30, scoring five points for Worcester State at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships. He also came in 10th place in the men’s long jump for a distance of 6.44m.

Weeks Marks Seventh Place Finish in Men’s Shot Put at NEICAAAFebruary 28, 2016BOSTON – Junior Sam Weeks (Methuen, Mass.) marked a seventh place finish in the shot put event at the All New England Championships at Boston University this weekend (Feb. 27). He was one of two Division III finishers in the top eight, notching a personal record at 15.44m.

Men’s Indoor Track & Field Takes Second Place at MASCAC ChampionshipFebruary 13, 2016PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Worcester State University’s Sam Weeks (Methuen, Mass.) and Jared Barros (Taunton, Mass.) were crowned Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) champions in their respective events Saturday afternoon. The men’s indoor track & field team took a second place finish in the MASCAC Championship, and fifth in the Alliance Championship which included teams from the Little East Conference (LEC).

Two Qualify for Division III New England Championship in Men’s Indoor Track & Field’s Opening Day at the UMass Boston InvitationalDecember 05, 2015BOSTON, Mass. – The Worcester State Men’s Indoor Track & Field team opened up their 2015-16 campaign Saturday (Dec. 5) with the UMass Boston Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center. Two Worcester State student-athletes qualified for the Division III New England Championship - sophomore Markeish Harmon (Leominster, Mass.) and senior Duy Truong (Worcester, Mass.).
