• Women's Lacrosse Loses To Roger Williams In ECAC Playoffs, 17-2

    Bristol, RI --- The Roger Williams University women’s lacrosse team (14-4) defeated visiting Worcester State College (9-6), 17-2, Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III New England Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Freshman Claire Halliday tallied an RWU record 11 points in the contest with six goals and five assists.

    Providence, RI --- Worcester State sophomore midfielder Abby Cosenza scored the game-winning goal with nine seconds left in regulation to lift the Lancers to a 9-8 victory over Rhode Island College Tuesday evening at the RIC Lacrosse Field. Cosenza tied the game with 2:56 left on the clock prior to her heroics.
