BRUNSWICK, Maine - Seven Worcester State University women's indoor track & field student-athletes competed Saturday in day two of the New England Championships at Bowdoin College's Farley Field House.
Sophomore Bernice Mensah (Worcester, Mass.) was the only Lancer to compete in two events, as she finished in 15th place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.22 seconds, as well as the triple jump, where she finished 23rd with a leap of 10.11 meters. Junior Abigail MacGregor (Derry, N.H.) also competed in the 60 meter dash, running a time of 8.09 seconds to finished 10th.
Freshman Gail Provo (Woburn, Mass.) competed in the high jump on the day, but could not clear the bar set at 1.53 meters.
Elisabeth Olson (Wilmington, Mass.), Kyra Siano (North Attleboro, Mass.), Ryann Molinari (Grafton, Mass.), and Courtney Guay (Londonderry, N.H.) comprised the 4x800 meter relay team that finished in 16th place overall on the day, running a time of 10:03.69.
