Kralian Earns Repeat USTFCCCA All-Academic AccoladesAugust 03, 2011New Orleans, LA --- For the second-straight year, junior Mara Kralian has earned US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for her performance in the classroom. Kralian was one of 328 female student-athletes from around the country to be selected to the Division III squad.

Donohue, Kralian Set New School Records At ECAC ChampionshipsMay 19, 2011Bethlehem, PA --- Junior Mara Kralian helped the women's track and field team score 19 points for a finish of 12th place on Friday afternoon at the ECAC Division III Championships at Morvarian College. For her contributions in the field, Kralian was named this week's MASCAC Female Track Athlete of the Week.

Wise, Record-Setting 4x100 Helps Lead Women's Outdoor Track At Open New England'sMay 13, 2011New Haven, CT --- Sophomore Briana Wise timed ninth in the 200 meters (25.84) and helped lead the 4x100 meter relay team (48.96) to a record-setting ninth place as the Worcester State women's outdoor track competed this at the Open New England Championships. For her efforts, Wise was named the MASCAC Player of the Week.

Kralian, Werneth Pace Women's Track To 15th Place At Division III New England ChampionshipsMay 06, 2011Cambridge, MA --- Junior Mara Kralian tore up the track with a blistering time of 12.48 for fifth place to reset the school record as freshman Hannah Werneth tossed eighth in the shot put as Worcester State for 11 team points in 15th place on the third day of the Division III New England Championships hosted by MIT.

Westfield State Edges Women's Outdoor Track For MASCAC TitleApril 30, 2011Fitchburg, MA --- Despite five first-place individual finishes and two top relays, Westfield State edged out Worcester State by nine points (206-193) for the MASCAC Outdoor title. The Lancers did, however, place second overall in the New England Alliance standings on the backs of Mara Kralian and Briana Wise.

Strong Field Performances Pace Women’s Outdoor Track at Silfen InvitationalApril 23, 2011New London, CT --- First-year Megan Taylor placed first in the high jump, while senior Christina Bisbee and freshman Hannah Werneth each placed second in the shot put and the hammer throw, respectively, to help lead Lancers to ninth place with 50 points at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.

Wise, Kralian Pace Women’s Outdoor Track At MIT Spring InvitationalApril 17, 2011Cambridge, MA --- Sophomore Briana Wise timed 12.56 in the 100 meters while junior Mara Kralian had a leap of 5.36 meters in the long jump to help lead the Worcester State women’s track and field team on Saturday at the MIT Spring Invitational. Both qualified for the All-Open New England’s in the process.

Dartmouth, MA --- Sophomore Erin Donohue clocked second in the 5,000 meters to reset the school record with a time of 18:40.63 and qualify for the ECAC Division III Championships as she helped pace the women’s outdoor track and field team to a second place finish at the Corsair Classic.
