    Buzzards Bay, MA --- Worcester State sophomore forward Robert Hunter has been named to the All-MASCAC First-Team in a vote by the leagues seven head coaches on Monday. Hunter, who transferred from Mass Bay Community College, has 18 double-doubles in 26 games.

    Willimantic, CT --- Despite double-double efforts by junior teammates Robert Hunter and Monte Goodwin, Worcester State lost to the hosting Warriors, 68-48, in the opening round of the Eastern Connecticut tip-off tournament. The Lancers will play SUNY Genesceo in the consolation game at 1 PM on Saturday.

With the Lancers nursing a one-point lead with seconds remaining, the Bison won the contest on a rare goal tending call.
