    Worcester, MA --- Second-seeded MCLA used a five-run uprising in the top of the tenth to defeat #1 Worcester State, 8-4, in the winners bracket game of the MASCAC Softball Tournament semifinals. Sophomore Rachel Couto had three hits and three RBIs in the setback while freshman Samantha Rivers added two base-knocks.

Sophomore Sara Pelletier, Rachel Couto and Courtney Salisbury all had two hits each in the setback.

    Clermont, FL --- Worcester State drew a split this afternoon at the NTC Softball complex dropping a 15-0 decision in five innings to Luther before rebounding with a solid 13-7 triumph over UMass Boston. In the nightcap against the Beacons, at least eight of the nine starters in the line-up scored a run or recorded a hit.
