    SALEM, Mass. – Leah Fitzgerald (Upton, Mass.) and Hailey Skowronski (Douglas, Mass.) each scored a goal as Worcester State posted a 2-0 shutout over Salem State in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's soccer match on "Think Pink" day at Alumni Field on Saturday afternoon. All proceeds from the game were donated to the North Shore Medical Cancer Center.

    Player of the Week Ashley Spellman, Worcester State Senior, Goalie, Lancaster, Mass. Spellman finished with three shutouts, a 0.00 GAA, 1.000 save percentage and 13 saves in a 3-0 week for the Lancers. Made eight saves in the 2-0 win over Salve Regina University, four in the 2-0 win over Gordon College and added a save in the 2-0 conference win over MCLA.
