    Worcester, MA –-- The Worcester State College softball team’s season came to an end Saturday afternoon as they dropped a pair of MASCAC games to the visiting Rams of Framingham State College by the final scores of 13-2 and 6-2.

    Worcester, MA –-- The Worcester State College softball team scored just one run but it proves to be enough as they defeated the visiting Hawks of Becker College by the final tally of, 1-0, Tuesday evening at Rockwood Field. The win ups the Lancers’ record to, 9-21 while Becker falls to 6-16.

    Worcester, MA –-- The Worcester State College softball team’s struggles continued Thursday evening as they lost a pair of non-conference contests to the visiting Bison of Nichols College at Rockwood Field. The Lancer fell in game 1, 9-8, and in game 2 by the score of, 9-5. The losses leave Worcester State with a 7-18 record while Nichols improves to 17-10.

    Worcester, MA --- WPI pitchers Heather Hassett and Lindsay Brown limited visiting Worcester State to just two runs in a non-conference softball doubleheader as the Engineers swept the Lancers by scores of 5-1 and 3-1. With the sweep, WPI snaps a five-game losing streak and improves to 14-16. Worcester State slips to 7-16.
