Mahoney Tabbed To NFCA New England First-Team
May 13, 2011Starksville, MO --- Senior Michaella Mahoney has been named to the First-Team of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-New England team. The squad was announced on Wednesday, May 11. Mahoney was instrumental in helping the Lancers capture the 2011 MASCAC Softball Championship and a bid to the Division III Softball Tournament. -
Softball Stays Alive In NCAA's With 10-2 Triumph Over Husson
May 13, 2011Providence, RI --- Worcester State defeated Husson, 10-2, in six innings to earn their first-ever NCAA Tournament win this afternoon. The Lancers were led by junior Ashley Howe who went 3-for-4 with a run scored, three RBIs and a pair of doubles. They will take on the nationally ranked Coast Guard tomorrow at 12 PM. -
