• Withington Paces Women's Cross Country At New England Regionals

    Williamstown, MA --- Junior Maura Withington placed 117th in a field of 335 competitors to help lead the Worcester State women's cross country team at the NCAA New England Regionals hosted by Williams College. Withington's time was the second-best MASCAC individual finish.

    Paxton, MA --- First-year Kelsey Cartwright highlighted a strong performance for the women's cross country team as they finished in sixth at the New England Alliance Championships at Moore State Park. Cartwright placed 27th in a race that featured 137 competitors as she registered a time of 21:01.

    Fitchburg, MA --- Sophomore Erin Donohue captured second place with a time of 21:55 to help lead Worcester State University to a first place finish at the Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational on Friday afternoon. The Lancers captured 10 of the top 15 spots to score a total of 22 points.

    Boston, MA --- Led by junior Maura Withington's 11th place time of 21:01, the Worcester State women's cross country team had six girls finish inside the top 20 to help the squad record third at the Emmanuel Saints Invitational which took place this afternoon at Franklin Park.
